Machiya Kanon has several plans to choose from:
Plan A: 10,500 Yen
includes makeup, being dressed, and your choice of four pictures selected from six poses at outside.
Plan B: 13,500 Yen
includes makeup, being dressed, two pictures as above plus 60 minutes taking a walk in historic Gion dressed as a geisha.

Plan C: 18,000 Yen,
includes makeup, being dressed, and twelve pictures in a photo album to be selected from pictures taken during the entire time during your transformation into a geisha.
Plan D: 23,000 Yen,
including eight pictures selected from those taken during the entire time, as the photographer will accompany you on your walking tour. Additional photos may be selected for an extra fee.

You may also purchase a CD-R of all of the pictures taken for 2,500 Yen

The Process to become Maiko and Geisha

We would like to explain the process to become "Maiko"and "Geisha"as follows.
1) Preparation
a) Contact lenses
Just for hard contact lens user: please bring a case for your lens.
We recommend that you take out your lens while we put on your
make-up.
(Soft lens is no problem)
b) Cosmetics
Please bring your own cosmetic goods so that you can reapply your make-up before you go home.
** We have face cleanser, shampoo, hair treatment, dryer and some towels which you can use.

2) Make-up removal and cleansing of your skin
a) Our staff will remove all your make-up from your face prior to
applying the "Maiko"and "Geisha" make-up.
(you can remove your make-up yourself if you
prefer)

3) Moisturizing your skin
a) "Binzuke Abura" will be applied to moisture your skin and to help your skin look pure white
**Do not touch your face after we apply the "Binzuke abura" as this will have an effect on the finished make-up

4) Make -Up
a) You will enjoy our "Maiko" Japanese traditional make-up using eye shadow, eye liners, and lipsticks.
**We can personalize the look of the make-up at your request if you wish.

5) Set up your hair
a) We will set-up your hair using various types of traditional Japanese wigs and hair oil.
**Depending on your request, we can also apply black hair spray to change your look.

6) Change your clothing
a) Now, you can choose one of our traditional Japanese dress "Kimono" from our great collection and some seasonal accessories "Kanzashi" for your hair.

☆Binzuke Abura...This is a kind of sticky oil made from botanics.

It's the same of Kabuki Makeup base!
